What you need to know about our performance campaigns.

At advertio, we’ve always had the goal of helping businesses create advertising campaigns as fast as possible and with the best results. From the start we have aimed for a democratisation of the advertising market as we envision a future where all types of businesses can share the same online space and reach their individual goals, regardless of expertise or budget.

Our app has been live and running for more than a year now, which has allowed us not only to understand where we could improve but also to collate the most common requests and suggestions from our users. After listening to them, we first decided to update the app’s flow and user experience in order to simplify the process of creating campaigns, which we did in December.

Next, we created a virtual assistant that helps users to create a campaign in less than three minutes, thus allowing those who are not very familiar with digital marketing to create successful campaigns and reach their goals.

Then it was time to focus on minimising the risk to our clients of advertising online. In order to do this, we took another step in that direction and a few weeks ago finally launched our performance campaigns. This means that if you use advertio you won’t have to pay for clicks or ads, but will instead only be charged if and when you achieve the goal you set for your campaign.

Here are a few ways of using this new feature:
- if you’ve developed an app and want to achieve more downloads, we will only charge per download we generate;
- if you want to increase your follower base, set that goal when creating your campaign, and we will only charge per follower you pick up;
- if you perhaps have a traditional business and are looking for more contacts, so we only charge per phone call you receive.

To take advantage of this, you just need to start your performance campaign, complete all the fields for ad creation and then select a goal for that specific campaign. Also, keep in mind that we update our goals regularly and are working to create more options that fit everyone’s needs.

Lastly, we want to remind you that no matter what type of campaign you choose, you are always in charge of your budget and of how much you spend. Depending on the number of goals you want to achieve we will recommend an amount that should enable you to achieve your goals faster, but you can change it or update it at any time!
